PJH Civil Engineers policy will comply with Health and Safety legislation, industry guidance and standards relevant to its construction and civil engineering activities .

Our objectives are to:

Ensure a safe, healthy and secure working environment for employees, contractors and others who are or maybe affected by our activities.

Reduce loss due to accidents, fire, property damage and environmental pollution.

Identify hazards applicable to company activities, assess the risks and by elimination, substitution or safe systems of work reduce the identified risk to a minimum

Introduce Health surveillance where the activities being undertaken are likely to affect the health of those doing the work

Monitor, through regular inspections and audits, our compliance with legislation and organizational standards and review systems andprocedures in light of findings from monitoring .

Environmental Policy Statement
PJH Civil Engineers are committed to reducing the impact its Civil Engineering and Construction activities have on the environment.

To this end PJH Civil Engineers will apply the requirements of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System to continuously improve its environmental performance.

In order to meet this commitment PJH Civil Engineers will undertake the following objectives:

Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental legislation

Reduce emissions and pollution

Improve waste management practices

Reduce consumption of natural resources

Minimize noise and other nuisances

Continuously monitor environmental performance

The necessary personnel and financial resources will be provided to assist the company in meeting its environmental objectives.

Employees will be given such information, training, instruction and equipment as necessary to enable them to undertake their work safety.

Effective communication is fundamental to achieving these objectives and matters reletive to the environment will be discussed at staff meetings/briefings. Suggestions on ways to lessen any detrimental effect of work activities on the environment are welcome from all staff.

Organization contracted to us are expected to share our commitment to effectively manage environmental matters and obtain a similar commitment from their employees and sub-contractors.

Environmental accidents/Incidents will be investigated to establish cause and measures taken to prevent recurrence.

Objectives and targets aimed at improving our environmental performance will be set and reviewed by our senior management team
